Fueling the mom movement to thrive, so the next generation can too.
It’s easy to lose ourselves in motherhood when so much of our time and energy is poured into raising our children. Too often, moms are overlooked with their needs sidelined, their exhaustion normalized. Why? Because we’re “just moms,” and after all, we chose this life… right?
But the truth is, postpartum can be one of the most challenging and isolating times in a mother’s life.
After my first two pregnancies, I consistently put myself last. When I welcomed my third, I made a promise to do things differently—to make self-care a daily priority. Movement became a big part of that commitment, and I fell in love with Pilates for its ability to be both gentle and incredibly powerful.
After a cross country move from New Jersey to Las Vegas, without family or friends, I found myself craving connection just as much as movement. With childcare not always accessible, I searched for mommy-and-me–friendly classes and came up empty. On a whim, I decided to create one myself—just for fun, with no expectations. I called it Club Momi, combining Mommy and Mini.
To my surprise, six moms showed up to that first class. Then more. And more. It grew entirely through word of mouth. That’s when I realized this was about so much more than movement—it was about creating a safe space moms were longing for. A place to move, connect to set the reminder that we are not alone. A place to find a village that truly understood this season of life.
Our kids deserve the best version of ourselves and that means taking care of our mental and physical health. At Club Momi, that’s our mission - to normalize this through curated events, movement classes and meet ups. When moms are taking care of baby, we take care of mom.
